This prerequisite unit is for anyone wanting to do GCPV Solar Design Only. It is also suitable for non-electricians aiming for SAA Design Only accreditation in solar power, and aspiring renewable energy designers who need to understand electrical theory to progress in the field.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for the UEERE0051 unit, which will provide the prerequisite to complete the PV Systems Solar Design Only course.
Please note that no previous qualifications, such as electrical engineering degrees, can be used in conjunction with this unit or any design units. The pathway to accreditation can only be achieved with UEERE0051, UEERE0054, UEERE0060, and UEERER0061.
