Expected Behaviour

All students and customers engaging with Staysafe Industry Training are expected to:

  • Treat all others (students, staff, contractors) with respect, dignity, and courtesy
  • Respect the privacy, health, and welfare of others
  • Abstain from any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
  • Comply with anti-discrimination laws and support an inclusive environment
  • Complete your own work, demonstrating honesty and academic integrity
  • Follow directions given by trainers or support staff and behave responsibly during training
  • Unacceptable Behaviour

Examples of behaviour that will not be tolerated include:

  • Bullying, intimidation, or harassment — verbal, written, physical, or online
  • Discrimination, victimisation, or any unlawful conduct
  • Disruptive behaviour including yelling, swearing, offensive or threatening language
  • Viewing or sharing offensive or inappropriate content
  • Theft, vandalism, or deliberate damage to property
  • Possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol during training
  • Endangering the safety of yourself or others
  • Any form of violence, including verbal threats or assault
  • Plagiarism or submitting work that is not your own
