Student Code of Conduct and Behaviour Policy
At Staysafe Industry Training, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all students, customers, trainers, and staff. We believe that mutual respect creates the foundation for a positive and productive training experience.
Expected Behaviour
All students and customers engaging with Staysafe Industry Training are expected to:
- Treat all others (students, staff, contractors) with respect, dignity, and courtesy
- Respect the privacy, health, and welfare of others
- Abstain from any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
- Comply with anti-discrimination laws and support an inclusive environment
- Complete your own work, demonstrating honesty and academic integrity
- Follow directions given by trainers or support staff and behave responsibly during training
- Unacceptable Behaviour
Examples of behaviour that will not be tolerated include:
- Bullying, intimidation, or harassment — verbal, written, physical, or online
- Discrimination, victimisation, or any unlawful conduct
- Disruptive behaviour including yelling, swearing, offensive or threatening language
- Viewing or sharing offensive or inappropriate content
- Theft, vandalism, or deliberate damage to property
- Possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol during training
- Endangering the safety of yourself or others
- Any form of violence, including verbal threats or assault
- Plagiarism or submitting work that is not your own
