SAA Pathway to GCPV Install Only Accreditation

The GCPV Installation Only Pathway is designed for licensed electricians who want to install grid-connected photovoltaic (solar) systems without completing the full solar design units. This pathway focuses specifically on the skills required to install PV systems safely and compliantly, including site surveying, basic system instruction, and installation to power conversion equipment.

It is ideal for electricians who work alongside solar designers, or those who prefer to complete the installation components first before progressing to full Design Accreditation. Some prerequisite electrical units are required, although these are already held by most practising electricians.

The units below represent the minimum requirements to achieve this installation-only outcome.
