Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Assessment

At Stay Safe Industry Training, students are expected to complete all assessment tasks using their own knowledge and understanding. While AI tools (such as ChatGPT) can be used to support learning—like researching concepts or clarifying information—they must not be used to generate assessment answers for submission.

All assessment work must be written in the student’s own words and demonstrate genuine understanding and competence. Students may be asked to explain or expand on their responses during the assessment process.

Submitting copied, plagiarised, or AI-generated work without understanding is considered academic misconduct. This may result in a “Not Yet Satisfactory” outcome and require the student to resubmit or complete additional assessment tasks.
